I think I may have made her hands and feet too small. I should have probably planned that out better in sketch form. Still, I was thinking of trying to make better pictures later. And possibly updating these ones whenever I learn some shading tricks.
"Uh... Well... I mean... Hello..."
Name: Sally Sealight
Age: 14
Species: Mareep
Ability: Static
Hold Item: Metronome
Moves: Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Power Gem, Safeguard
Grade: Freshman
Personality: Sally is a shy individual, though she does tend to be curious about new things. She is not very fond of loud, intense noises and especially tends to be nervous when around such volumes.
Fighting Style/Tactics: "I... think I'll just start back here..."
Sally keeps a fair amount of distance between her and her opponents, attacking them from afar. She also has a few methods of precaution that she uses in case there are certain threats that can be detrimented or negated.
She tends to use safeguard then pick the most effective move for the battle and stick with it, gradually powering up the move with her hold item. She also has a fair bit of power behind her attacks, but is particularly weak physically. Therefore, battles with her usually end up with a quick victor, of either side.
History: Sally was born to professional battler Ampharos Rambalt Sealight and housewife Flaafy Celia Sealight during the prime years of their life. Early on in Sally's life, however, her father was banned from any and all official battles and forced to look for any job he could find. The stress from having to struggle to support his family and the humiliation from being banned from the rings turned him into a wreck, and his stress was vented toward Sally and her mother. This continued on for some time...
However, things changed one day when Sally was nine. In one instance in a past school, Sally was physically bullied to such an extent that Sally let loose a thunderbolt toward the agressor. While the bully took the attack, said bully didn't take it well, having been hospitalized. Sally was suspended from the school, but her father was impressed. He wanted to try training Sally for battle, seeing a strong power in her. Even though Sally didn't like what she did, or fighting in general, she accepted in hopes that she could make her father happier.
Sally trained for five years, and Rambalt managed to get her a few scholarships and enroll her into the PCA to further her training.
Extra Notes: Sally's static ability isn't 100% under control. There are times she accidentally paralyzes other 'mon by merely touching them, and vice versa even in normal everyday situations.
I'd say the history seems better, but then again that's because there's more turning points than Hayate or Kenji (More or less on purpose. I'm not all that interested in making lots of tragic past characters.), but still eh in my book. I also have specifics in mind, but I didn't want to clog this up.
