After getting a complement on her design, I decided to give it another shot at my current max skill level, and after fiddling for a few hours I ended up with this. I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out. I might do more Gospel of Audrey stuff later. Just because the comic is dead, doesn't mean I have to stop using the characters.
Also, I'm still open for requests, if anyone wants to drop one in.

Audrey is an exceptionally intelligent, logical, and clever person. She's pretty reserved, but she's certainly not dull or judgmental. She sometimes has a hard time relating to other people on an emotional level, but is still generally a good friend.
Her mother is a famous fashion designer, her father is a pastor. Both are very Christian, but are not bad people. Perhaps a little ignorant, but not bad. When she came as being gay, they were confused, then embarrassingly supportive, then just supportive. Her father came out in public support for her, and half of the congregation left. Her mother began actively supporting LGBT causes through her company.
She shares her religion with her parents. Although she's spent a lot of time doubting and working through the guilt, shame and self-loathing that her parents unwittingly inflicted on her, she stuck with it and remains a Christian to this day.
Audrey has always had a strong interest in programming, and just nerdery in general. She's played huge numbers of RPGs, roguelikes, of course tons of Zelda, and has logged something like 500 hours into dwarf fortress. She's also homestuck trash, as evidenced by her shirt. All of this ultimately lead her to pursue a career in computer science, which lead inevitably lead to a career in game development with the love of her life, Emily.
Which brings us to where she is now. She lives in an apartment with Emily, and works with her in a cramped office with two other people, developing the next great kickstarted indie game. She still meets with all of her other high school friends weekly to play various tabletop games, and generally keeps a strong relationship with them, despite the fact that they don't see each other quite as often. Especially Jack, who may as well be her brother.
More biographical pages coming soon.

There's definitely more of that already queued up as a part of Super Clothing Damage Adventure stuff I've already drawn. (Unfortunately, I'll probably be be discontinuing that when it hits the next possible stopping point, due to a combined lack of time, interest, and money. I'm not too happy about that.)
If you'd like me to do more art of them in addition to what I'm already posting, though, I'll definitely add it to the request list.

Aww, I'm terribly sorry to hear that! But not overly surprised. If you do have to put it back on the shelf, maybe there will come a time when it can return again. One can only hope...
And I do appreciate that! As for fan art suggestions, I never see quite enough of Freya Crescent from Final Fantasy IX. Especially in wardrobe malfunction/ENF situations. Just a thought if you ever feel so inclined!

I've added that to the request list. Freya was already on my list of possibilities, so it's likely I'm going to get around to this one in the near future.
I do want to play the game for a quick refresher, though. (As if I needed an excuse to replay FFIX...)
EDIT: It would appear that the comment tree doesn't properly specify who I'm replying to. This is directed toward stokerbramwell.

@Zeb
It's pretty unfortunate.
Not to say I'll stop using the setting or characters. And I'll be posting a lot of unused materials in the postmortem stuff. I'm also thinking of doing an askblog-styled thing for an interactive epilogue of sorts. So this isn't to say this is the last you'll see of SCDA; it'll live on in a diminished state.
If I can someday secure sufficient funding and interest, I'll might possibly reboot it in the far future.
I'll probably make a more formal announcement about this soonish.

Neat as that is, don't really think it'll be able to condense it down considering how early on into the quest it technically was, having it go straight to epilogue would be..somewhat jarring.
Really shouldn't have brought that up until the official announcement, but it couldn't hurt to explain myself a little here.
I guess epilogue might have been the wrong word.
The idea is that it'll work as a periodic check-in of sorts. The characters effectively continue what they would do on their own, and the askers are able to get information about what's going on, and whatever else interests them. Which will allow at least some interaction with the characters and world for anyone still interested. The askblog stops when the asks do, so it'll only really go on so long as people are interested, if they are at all. This would be in addition to other extra content, like illustrated world and character notes, and unused character designs.
With as much time and effort I've put into this, I really don't want to stop it without a proper send-off, so this is my idea of how I'd go about doing that.
