I guess i could use this time/post to vent, Something i try not to do often.
In all seriousness and honesty, I'm getting bored of music, but keep in mind, I'm not going to just quit. I feel like i'm running out of ideas! plus most of what i want to make is beyond what i can do, due to the limitation of the synths I use and could always use better programmed effects since hardware is expensive. So i make-do with what i have and its become so repetitive its boring, I'm not having fun as much as I used to. So its really Sylenth1, Sylenth1, Syltenth1, omnisphere, FM8, and fucken Sylenth1. I know they are good synths but doesn't spark any creativity and especially sylenth1, sounds weak to me cause I use it so often. I'ts almost as if, I'm forcing a idea or some kind of tune to be made. I know what I want to make, but the longer I work on creating sounds, trying to come up with a bass, lead, you name it. It gets boring, less desirable to make music. Hardly ever get those Ah-ha! moments. Usually I'ts close enough (I hate that). *sigh* uuuurrrggghhh...fuck.
I could rant, all day. But I'll stop here. I like making music, I just don't like what I'm making. That's the bottom line.

Nope never going to give up. Right now it's to the point that... I know what I 'want' to write. But I have to write with what I have. It's not like I can hook up a moog voyager or a VirusTI and to add some drama open up a massive East West Library, plus to not worry about sounding so digital with the soft synths. So yeah
well, tbh, most people that can differentiate between software/hardware are producers/audophiles, and they make up about 1% of the population
As in, fuck what those people think. I get that your preferences matter to you, but the 'hardware solution' is kinda like the 'DJ with vinyl' thing.
As in, if you practice and know what you're doing, it doesn't matter what you DJ with.
Also, if you're having trouble paying for stuff, try Paypal Credit or a credit card or something. There's always a way to pay for stuff
Also, I'd recommend Spire. It's pretty nice.

I find listening to new artists is a great way to spark some new ideas. If you feel up for it, even branching out into new genres can help.
Also putting your body in motion helps too. Walking/biking around your area for a few minutes can get creative juices going. :)
For what it's worth, I really liked this song. :)

Yeah I know that feeling all too well. So many of my ideas require me to be able to sing like a fifth above my highest pitch like it's nothing.
I think trying to integrate my imagination with the knowledge of my current abilities helps. :) Again if you can't think of anything in the studio try going out and getting exercise or something, thinking about the sound of your current instruments in your head. Might help. :)
