Normal Body type;

Nidoqueen in general are extremely rare in the wild compared to their male counterparts, but still, this is the form they are most commonly found in. with large bodies, they are built like tanks covered in hard scales and sharp spikes. as Nidoran, they are able to breed and produce young....lots of them. in their whole 9 year life span, one female Nidoran can produce up to nearly 300 kitts. the reason they have so many is because as Nidoran, they are often the favorite prey to many larger carnivorous Pokemon. their poison is weak, they can't run too fast, and they're plump most of the time (from eating a lot and from pregnancy), making them irresistible to predators and very easy to catch. to avoid capture, females tend to live underground in burrows while males tend to tread above ground as lookouts and protectors of the warren.

Though that may sound sweet of the males, things are much different should a female evolve and become a Nidorina.
sadly, being unable to breed and produce kitts, as well as not being as strong as the males to help defend the warren, she is now viewed as 'useless' and nothing more than 'another mouth to feed', so she is either chased off or killed.

Luckily, we can say that things do get better for her in her final stage of evolution, should she live long enough for it.
she's strong enough to defend herself and now so toxic that she no longer has any actual predators (aside from humans), but it is still not in their instinct to live alone. Nidoqueen will often group up into herds of 10 individuals or more. in these herds, they will share the responsibility of raising any young they have left (should they be lucky enough to escape their past warrens with some. it has happened), as well as protect and care for each other. shockingly, it was recently discovered that groups of Nidoqueen will also 'gang up' on other Pokemon to steal food away from them. being omnivores, they have been seen mobbing herbivores away from ideal grazing areas and chasing predators such as Mightyena and even Luxray away from their kills.

Contrary to very popular belief, wild Nidoqueen and Nidoking do NOT get along very well.
people are used to cartoons showing the two loving each other, but in reality, Nidoking don't usually see the 'queens as lovers, but as competition for food and space, and will often do everything they can to intimidate them into running away or killing them if they get the chance (only should the rest of the herd not be present. a single Nidoking cannot take on a whole herd).

Abnormal Body-type;

This is a very rare form, so far only 4 with this body type have even been documented.
the most well known of the group are Fastener, a Nidoqueen currently living in New Bark Town, Johto, and Sura, a Nidoqueen living in Driftveil City, Unova. she belongs to Gym leader Clay's wife, Gwendolyn. it is thought that their bodies are shaped the way they are due to the fact that they, unlike most female Nidoran, were extremely active throughout the most part of their early lives. for wild Nidoran females, they live very low energy lives, not doing much aside from eating, sleeping and breeding. so many of them are rather plump bodied, meaning that when they evolve into Nidorino and Nidoqueen, they will remain large. but that is not the case with Fastener and Sura....Fastener refused to stay still even for a minute. she fought off every male that tried to breed with her and even sparred with many of them and won. Sura, who has always lived with Gwendolyn, is a scrapper who just loved to battle with Pokemon of all types, species and sizes, as frequently as possible. both of them managed to evolve and look the way they do not only with just the aid of a Moon stone, but also because of their high energy lives.

The other two Abnormal bodied Nidoqueen; sisters, Nico and Gin were both last seen about 8 years ago with their trainer. sadly, their stories are quite disturbing. several years ago, their trainer was found badly assaulted, unconscious and with his Pokeballs taken from him.
he claims he was attacked by a group of men all wearing black with each of them having a bright red 'Letter R' on their shirts...
It is thought that Nico and Gin have possibly been taken and sold on the black market.

Very Abnormal Body type;

Bet you're thinking that this particular Nidoqueen named, Yullie, was born millions of years ago in the prehistoric era where she may have roamed the earth along with Aerodactyl, Cranidos and other fossil Pokemon, right?...Wrong.
although she is no longer with us as of today, Yullie actually died 20 years ago. that sounds like 'forever ago', yes, but compared to a million years, that's actually quite recent.

At first, she was something of a specially bred and highly treasured Shiny 'housepet' to a family living in the suburbs of Pallet Town, Kanto.
she was loved and adored by many due to her odd colored fur and flesh. things were great for her life until her 9 year old trainer decided she wanted to use a Moon stone and evolve her, suddenly things went a little topsy-turvy. instead of the common body type, Yullie got something way more bizarre, and instead had the body type of some sort of old age ancestor of the modern Nidoqueen from millions of years ago.

With her parents absolutely terrified of the Pokemon, the young trainer was forced to give up her Nidoqueen.
fortunately for her though, she was able to live out the rest of her days in the Pokemon research labs with Professor Oak until her death at age 15. she passed away peacefully in her sleep, possibly from heart failure. it is very common in specially bred Shiny Pokemon.

Her skeletal remains are now on display at the Pewter Museum of Science, in Pewter City.
