Kali Farah De Wit
Kali is the Romani word for "Goddess"
Farah is a medieval name meaning "Beautiful / Pleasant"
De Wit is European surname. specifically from the Netherlands loosely meaning "White".
I've always been fascinated with European culture and I was inspired to do something slightly historical so that's why I chose those names.
I did not choose the Gypsy moth because of the name "Gypsy" (Often a term used to describe the Romani people) but because the Gypsy moth's homeland is Europe.
I also love the wing design and general fluffy appearance of the Gypsy moth.

Before you yell at someone for what you think is racism or stupidity maybe you should do some research first lol

It's alright. I forgive you. Didn't mean to come off as harsh or anything. I get comments like "You're racist / stupid / sexist / etc" all the time so I try do address them as quickly and directly as possible as to avoid drama. I did assume a bit that you were 'yelling', sorry for that. I'm used to that "type" of comment, as I said.
On a random note. I find it kinda funny that something so cute is considered a "Pest", in reference to this species of moth. They might as well change the species nickname to "Pest Moth" lul but most people already consider most species of moths pests (the only exceptions are usually Luna Moths and other exotic species)

Well this specific species of moth is destructive... Here's a direct quote from the wiki :
"As noted in The Gypsy Moth (1896) by Forbush and Fernald, the gypsy moth was considered a nuisance just ten years after their release. It included an account of all the trees being defoliated, caterpillars covering houses and sidewalks and that the caterpillars would rain down upon residents. The first outbreak occurred in 1889. An eradication program was begun in 1890."
