The spade has a hook on the end and there's a loop in the white fur to hook it onto, as seen in the right hand image.
Posable tails with wire like this look nice for static pictures, but the jolt from walking causes the wire to unbend and they drag on the ground when walking or moving. We honestly don't really like making tails with wire in them and will usually try to talk you out of it if you request one.

Nah, not mad at all! Just trying to discourage people from requesting the feature in the future, as I do on every tail like this that we post. People see the pictures and get unrealistic ideas about how they stay up, but the reality isn't nearly so pretty so i try to be very clear about it so they aren't surprised. I tried to talk SugahMonstah out of it too, so they already know what I'm on about xD
First off, want to say thank you so much for making this tail Shagpoke! Like, I really do like how my baby was represented and even Hibiki (the creator himself) agree's!
Now, as for the wiring thing, to let some people be aware of why I asked, was because I wanted to get the posable part down for picture, as this tail is based for a Gijinka for the character. It is okay if it only stays up for pictures, as it's that purpose. Now, when it's not used in pictures, I am okay with it being hooked onto my pants and walk around, and have the ability to snuggle the crap out of it too. Being a white character, of course I would not want a floor dragger for that color in the first place, so...this was the best option >W<
I know that you tried to talk me out of it S.P, but I am okay with it being in there. This should be the only tail with wire posing that I will have at all, so it will serve it's purposes well due to your craftsmanship! Be prepared for picture floods to happen when I get the chance.
Yea. The creator and I were talking about Gijinka stuff, and I was like, "Shoot, it'd be awesome if I could have a poseable tail so that way I can have different picture effects, and so, his tail is as such! This makes me really excited because I will be able to be that much closer to bring the whole thing around >w<

The hook is just a large fur hook http://www.habermanfabrics.com/imag.....52-500x500.jpg painted blue. It would get lost prety quick in long fur unfortunately. The loop is just a strong loop tack made of upholstery thread.
