One of our nightly rituals before putting my daughter to bed is to let her check the sky for any sign of the Moon. She says, “Moon! Moon!” and so I pick her up in my arms, check the skylight in our bathroom, go onto the back porch, or look out the windows in the front for any sign of our celestial companion. My friend
