The mahimahi or common dolphinfish (Coryphaena hippurus) is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. Also known widely as dorado, it is one of two members of the Coryphaenidae family, the other being the pompano dolphinfish
Never liked the term Dolphin Fish...having been raised on an island, I grew up calling them Mahi-Mahi...cause it sounded more...islander I guess =P
But I liked Mahi-Mahi's cause of their colors; same with the Yellowfin Tuna as well =)
Nice draw of the fish Carn; if you drew a Mahi-Mahi, it gives me hope you might draw a Yellowfin Tuna one of these days -_^

Well, if it was a yellowfin tuna, this fellow would have needed a bigger boat and rod; cause those tuna are BIG BOY tuna's lol
