This is a creature I from a really bad nightmare I had years ago, so I tend to sketch the ugly things a lot. Helps me not be afraid of them.

They are about 3 to 4 feet long and can not fly very well with those wings mainly use them to get into trees. Which is why the hook on the tail they wait hanging in trees till they sense a person walk under them (those are not eyes just sensing organs that detect heat ect,) They drop on the person head attaching with their teeth and jam a proboscis through the skull delivering a powerful paralytic. having made the person immobile they pump a digestive fluid in them body so they can suck the liquid out.

So have a sketch of them! First one I have done in color...whicj makes it creepier to me o___o;;
