Which is which?
A random doodle from several months ago I decided to color today on a whim
Rather pleased with it! Always nice when a traditional piece scans well, I think. Good feels for that occurence!

Wow, she looks none too pleased! Well, neither does Percival, but that's almost par of the course for him.
This drawing appears to be very sharp. Moreso than your other drawings. I think I recall this happening before, where a drawing you post suddenly looks sharper than the rest.
So, what does the red spiky circle represent?

It's rare for me to draw Adelaide looking this way, but it's still fun somehow! And HA, absolutely true! If anything, he looks out of place smiling when I draw him! ... Unless it's a wicked grin, anyway!
Oh, does it? I didn't even notice! But yes, this does happen. I think it's because something in my natural artistic inclination wants to be very sharp and edgy, but my study and obsession with anatomy tells me quite clearly that things ought to be rounder than that. I guess art instincts won this drawing!
I leave that up to the viewer's interpretation this time! What do you think it represents?

Ah, I don't really mean sharp in the sense that the lines are pointier or something like that. I more meant in terms of scanning quality.
I wouldn't say the other drawings are blurry. Far from it. But they don't have that crispness that this drawing does have. Like the difference between SD and HD, except much less extreme.
Percival left a mug of his enemy's blood on the table cloth too long and it left a stain.
A more serious answer... Seeing the title, it might represent something like the gates (or more like a portal in this case) to Hell.

Oh, I see! Hm, it might have just come out better due to how the drawing was oriented on the page! My scanner is a flat bed, so if the paper is sticking out while the cover is down, it can make some odd shadows... I've also been tweaking the contrast/brightness/saturation/gamma on my scans lately to bring the colors out better, so that might be a contributor as well! Though I haven't been sharpening the images, because that just makes them too pixelly. But hey, this piece was pretty important to me! I'm glad it came out so HD lookin'!
PFFF. I spat out the tomato juice (and not enemy blood) that I was drinking! That's gotta be it, no doubt about it!
Interesting! I like that interpretation, it does fit the title/theme!
