James Ropes father of April and Andrew Ropes

history:
James being a hornless horse was always poor. He took up being a thief getting many scars from near death fights. After stealing many times he became a target where a unicorn named Blair beat the crap out of him. He pleaded with her and explained his story why he did the things he did. Blair fell for his story and got pregnant with Andrew. He then escaped Blair after a few years Blair beat him up again breaking a few of his bones. But once again She fell for James and had April. James took care of Andrew and April turning over a new leaf. However Blair was sent on a mission outside the Island of Selena. She was never seen again. James gave his bandanna to April and Blair's hat to Andrew. Angered with the city for sending his mate Blair to her supposed death he attacked the city with a group of monsters.

He currently is in prison deep in the city where Andrew and April sometimes visit him.

Andrew sense then has taken care of April and lived with James relatives outside the city.
