This is one of my Ryknix, a bat-like species, one a home-built rocket glider. Haemaeo is a rare Ryknix that has left his homeworld and has a strong affinity for technology. Using things like this would be heresy back home. Bats may be able to fly, but flying at 200 mpH is way more thrilling than just flapping your wings!
