I've always liked the way you draw Applejack. The way you draw her hair just makes her look extra cute somehow.
...Conversely, it's the opposite effect on Pinkie. The way you draw her hair somehow makes her look a bit less cute. That is not to say she looks horrendous. Far from it! She's still super duper cute. But I think it has to do with the fact the hair seems to has lost a bit of its volume and poofiness. It also seems a bit shorter.

I like nerdy Twilight. Sadly, she isn't as nerdy as she used to be anymore. That's why it's nice to see drawings like this from time to time.

That feeling of yours is what inspired me to make this picture that way, actually! Initially I was just drawing ponies, but I thought about how much you liked those early episodes where Twilight was still learning about friendship. I really learned to appreciate those old days, talkin' to you about it! So I figured why not inject that into the drawing c:
