What sounds like an exotic dance is actually the Latin name for a certain kind of badger, in this case the wolverine. That, again, is also a well-known superhero from the Marvel comics (and also a movie franchise Hugh Jackman will partake in until he can show off his chiseled abs only from a wheelchair anymore). In my recently started tradition of turning comic book characters into their obvious anthro-forms this is my newest entry

When researching that species, I noticed that they're hiding awfully long and sharp claws in their fluffy paws, so it was easy to see where the designer of the Wolverine character got their inspiration from, and how to make his feet therefore. It was also interesting to draw metal and leather as part of a costume for a change.

That's Wolverine! Literally, they only made him because their "Multinational" team needed a Canadian, and they went with the only badass animal Canada had (although Moose are even more deadly, being moose). I did some sketches at the Field Museum a while back from their dioramae, and remember telling some kids about the real wolverine they were looking at - "They won't stop fighting until one of the animals involved is dead." Got a good reaction out of them. But yeah, huge fucking claws.
