And finally the lonely world weary soldier.

Actually there was a little symbolism there. Mas is a weapon all by herself. She's practically been born and bred to be a soldier. Plus Mas lost her squad in an engagement a few months before the story starts, so it's kinda like she lost her teeth, if you will. She doesn't have her weapon because technically she doesn't need it. The other two do. Kris has her wits, her gun, and passive magic. Jo has active magic but keeps a gun anyways.
If that makes sense. Hehe.
Mas does have her weapon, it can shift between a sword and a rifle.

There were one or two before I deconstructed the narrative (I was no longer pleased with the story line), so I'm reworking it.
One antagonist is a group called the Watchmen, a mysterious group that rounds up exceptional talent (mostly mages, but of all aptitudes). The Watchmen destroyed Kris and Jo's home, forcing their family to run to the nearest city of Dankaanar to hide where the Watchmen couldn't touch them.
Jo was also an antagonist, she's sort of an anti-villain. Her goals are good, she wants to help people, strengthen defenses and trade routes for the colonies, make them safer and have facilities more accessible to the more remote areas (i.e., not the trade hubs); but her methods are evil. Mas is special in what she is, a fusion of both worlds (human plus multi-dimensional being). Jo captured her and experimented on her horrifically in an effort to learn her secrets and replicate them in order to help save the world.
The rifts were growing wildly unsteady, anomalous regions were increasing, creatures from the rifts were far more numerous than they had ever been since the Cataclysm (which is an event that forced most of the population behind the walls of their massive cities, protected and isolated). So Jo is pretty desperate to fix the rifts, even if she has to rip apart her friend to do it. Fortunately Kris stops her before she passes the point of no return, though Mas is permanently damaged.
LOTS OF TEXT I APOLOGIZE, I'm still working on the antagonists.

Firstly - Hahaha... that's really not a ton of text.
Secondly - Interesting! I actually - operating under the assumption that these three uploads are all filling a kind of 'main character' role - figured that something like a group would be a better antagonistic force, like the Watchmen you described. But having a person operating without limits always makes a really interesting force to bump against, too... and that sounds kinda like how you described Jo.
Intriguing intrigue!
Well, I know the art's good, and I assume the story's as interesting as everything I've read - so hopefully there's more in the future!

Yeah! These gals are my main protagonists, the POV would bounce between them all, but default POV would be Kris. Thing about these guys are they're good guys but they don't do good things (all the time), you know? Jo is one of my favourites, she's reserved but she's very excited by the world around her, so having everything falling apart or closing in around her as the story progresses is interesting (and very mean, whoops).
I've been working in this story for years so I doubt I'll drop it any time soon ;) Thank you!

I think all the best characters aren't good all the time. Pretty much no people aren't good all the time. Making mistakes, having bad habits, etc... that all makes them more human. More relatable. A character you can understand easier, and like them for it.
So that works for a main chara! Or two or three!
Ah... the never ending projects that some stories can be... but there can always be more bits of it. Little pics and mentions! I have those from one of my old ones still.
