Yeah, that's right. It's finally out in the open. I love One Direction.
Not sure if that makes me a Directioner or not, because I very much love them, but I also do not associate with the fandom directly.
Anyways, their music is possibly one of the only things that kept me sane and as happy as I possibly could be during 12-20 hour days, constantly working non-stop, including weekends, during 3rd year of university (3D program). So I owe so much to them and their music because that entire year of school was possibly one of the most stressful, sleep-deprived times of my entire life. I could barely socialize with the people I loved because classes wouldn't finish until 9PM, then had to make time for homework, dinner, and maybe some sleep. But by 9PM, with a three hour time zone difference, I couldn't contact my sister and brother-in-law, who I love dearly, and that was brutal. I missed home, I missed my family, I missed a time when I was healthier and had time to eat and sleep. So many times, I felt like I should just cry and give up. But in the end, I found myself throwing on some 1D or Avicii and marching on.
They continue to keep me happy and only recently did I start shelling out money to collect their stuff. Haha.
So here, have Silberry, long overdue for a new picture, dancing to Best Song Ever. I picked that one because she is wearing an altered version of Liam Payne's outfit from the music video. She also has his arrow tattoo on her arm because he is my favourite. Who knows how long that tattoo will stay, but it'll be there for some time I think.
Also, regarding my journal on Sil's design, I decided to alter her only slightly because I tried all sorts of colour combinations and didn't like a single one. So I took her ear tips out and darkened the base of her ear to make it more brown. Hope that'll help a little bit with her looking less like a fox.

Yay! Good to hear. :) I think the ear tips was a very, very fox-like feature that just had to go. And my style has changed since the button nose days, so that was another factor.
Dahaha. I wish I heard more One Direction on the radio, but I barely hear any. Maybe it's just my radio station. QAQ

Ahah, yeah, it's been a while since I last drew her. She's not as bad off as some of my other characters, but considering I see her every day, using her for all sorts of icons, I figured it was time to make a new piece (mostly so I could replace all my icons. AHAHA). XD

Many times when it comes to artists' characters I'll always favor the main character/fursona. Many, many times. lol If they're appealing enough that is. And it's usually to the point where I really want to draw fan art of them. Like drawing Silberry again would make for a great example of how far I've come drawing wise. Last time I draw her was... 2007-2008?
