Alex Ray is a member of this school who is at risk of being removed from this school for unfair reasons. He is a friend of many, if not nearly all the other students here at Shabazz. We don't want to see him go, and we feel he deserves another chance. If you could sign this petition, it would help us all greatly. Thank you for your support.

Alex James Ray is a very dedicated child who loves to inspire. All he hopes to do is help out others in need and give great inspiration to the world. It's unfortunate that he's had to go through a lot lately, and being able to be in the space of inspiring people helps him get by.
I feel Alex Ray has trouble talking to people for help but the ones he trusts not to judge him for his mistakes. Especially after his past experiences, he's had trouble facing his problems head on. This is from a life time of growing up around a family who treats their trials and errors in anger and pain, instead of trying to fix it. I feel Alex needs a helping hand to pull his grades back up, because I know that he has the motivation to be a good student.
He's literally been told that he is a disappointment by his family and they plan to kick him out when he's 18.
I think this personal issue should be looked at a little more. A past experience has lead him to not be able to trust guidance because it caused him to have to run away from home for a day and have a family gathering to talk about the issues. Ever since, it seemed like everything was fine, but it only got worse as his mother continued to reject his ideas of success. He feels less and less connected to his family and he wants to just get away from it all. This school is his only haven to be himself.
Alex is a dear friend of mine who has been struggling for years, and he's even saved some lives from depression from his last talent show. All of us give him the drive to being positive and succeeding in his life, but due to the stereotype of creative people like Alex, it's been rough to express himself in this environment. This has then lead to his own depression.
Please. Alex Ray needs this hope from all of us.
He can do great things, I know it.
