is that really Venus?
My friend said it was a Satellite.

it really is. it's super bright as it's nearly a 'full' Venus. the only satellite that bright is the ISS and it would be moving very fast. (a good overhead pass would cross the sky in about 4 or 5 minutes)

Thats awesome. Me and my friend were laying outside with the firepit just looking up at the sky. and this picture is amazing quality.
