Another one down! :)

More on the way in the coming days, both conbadges and full-sized commissions. :)

I tried something a little more experimental with this one. You'll notice the half-tone effect I've been putting in the backgrounds of these finished badges.

With Aelius here, I tried to kinda make him look like he's popping off the badge by putting the same half-tone effect on most of his body except for his head, the arm in the foreground and most of his tail. The shadowing on those parts is smoother, to make it look more solid.

To add to that effect, I added additional shadowing under the parts that are "popping" out of the picture. Not sure if that really pulls the effect properly, but I am pretty happy with it for a first try. :)
