A little about the characters and the relationship between them;
Emeka (the white one) and Alisha met many many years ago, and they became fond of each other very quickly, even though Emeka was already married with sweet and very kind Kata and they had children together. He was actually quite happily married at the time and was a proud father, and it bothered him a bit that he liked Alisha too, but too often she got him to forget about his family for a while.
But since Alisha is a person who really doesn't want to stay in one place too long, she vanished after some time. Emeka began to soon miss her, but he decided to focus on his wife and children – at least until their first-born son died. Their other sons and Emeka himself physically suffered too, but the heaviest pain came from the loss of a brother and a son. It affected Emeka most, and he became more serious than he already had turned into, and it has slowly ruined his and Kata's marriage too. Nevertheless, they have stayed together for the sake of their sons.

Now they're both middle-aged, and the couple have got yet another son. He's still little, but they haven't managed to get their marriage better even for their youngest son. For Emeka it feels difficult to go home, so one evening he goes to a tavern again, and to his surprise he meets Alisha there. Seeing Alisha brings almost immediately a smile on his face, which hasn't been there in a while. Alisha still has the same effect on him and she somehow makes him always feel good, no matter what. So even if their relationship is mostly physical, it's still a bit more deeper than that. : )
