Third Bridge of a Pencil over the 19th Fret
Clean tone played on open strings
Recorded and arranged in Audacity because I don't know any better
I've had my Electric Guitar for all of an evening, and I already have put something unlistenable together. I'm proud of myself. Quite obviously I don't know how to play, have no formal or informal education, and my guitar isn't even fully in tune. This is an experiment in the tones I can achieve without pedal effects.
Third Bridge Guitar involves creating a third bridge on the guitar with an added object, allowing the string to vibrate in two separate sections, creating overtones and a chiming effect, and allowing the guitar to be played in different areas to create different timbres. I first saw the latter in Kaki King's work and the former in Bradford Reed.
