Had this idea in the back of my head to come up with new official designs for all the Legends of Aeluria that have been created so far. Some of the characters exist only on paper or in my mind, and are in desperate need of a physical form.
(to be honest I despise the character sheet I made for him a few months ago)
I decided to start off with one of my oldest characters, Judah.
One of the main differences is that I added more leather armor, and a tad more chain mail on his legs. I removed his cloak in this design, as I figured he would only occasionally wear it, like while travelling or during inclement weather.
Stats:
Name: Judah Alisdair
Nicknames: Phoenix, Blackbird,
Affiliation: Felorian Alliance, City of Felidor, Seven Sons of Verganza
Known living relatives:
Shammah-adopted elder brother
oath blood brothers
Phoenix's early life was shrouded in mystery. Not much is known about his birth parents, other than the assumed premise one of them was a half-breed based on unusual Phoenix's coloring and markings.
He was found , in the charred remains of a windwalker wagon when he was 3 weeks old by the enigmatic king of the Tzavo, Irijah, who then took him to desert city of Verganza, on the outskirts of Felorian territory. His surname Alisdair came from an inscription on an amulet that he had in his blanket. This amulet and his surname he would keep with him all his life. His adopted family named him Judah, after an infant son they had just lost shortly before he was delivered to them.
At age of 11, his life took a hard turn when a cultic band of assassins, the Orionites, raided Verganza and kidnapped Judah, his adopted brother Shammah, and a handful of other village youths. 9 years they were forced to slave and train for their Orionite masters.
However they had forgotten one thing, Verganza was a city of warriors, and freedom was their highest prize.
Judah, Shammah and his 5 fellow captives successfully turned on their masters and escaped.
They returned to Verganza and chose to return to normal life, or at least they tried to...
The years of beatings, brainwashing, and forced labor still hung fresh in each of their minds, and Judah especially desired no more than to cut the Orionites off from the face of the earth.
for 2 years the seven hunted down their former masters, killing a good many until they were intervened by a bounty hunter lynx named Cyrus.
Cyrus saw potential in the young warriors, and took them all under his tutelage.
The group became inseparable, forming a blood brother pact with each other.
Judah's adopted brother, Shammah, took Judah's family name, disavowing his old family ties, bonding more to his brother by oath.
Cyrus acted as a needed father and friend to each one, and each one honing the skills they learned from the Orionites with the lynx's hunting abilities.
Cyrus and the Seven's reputation had become so great, the kingship of Felidor hired them to seek out criminals of Felidor.
The group broke up, when they lost their first casualty, on a mission that brought them against the orionites again.
Only Judah stayed with Cyrus, while the others returned to Verganza.
Due to being exposed to a strange drug while with the Orionites, Judah's eyes glow red when he becomes angry, and possessed him with a near berserker rage.
