From what I can tell, the Ragi-thing and etc as well as the rathian are characters of his, while the rathalos is supposed to be his sona. I'm *mostly* sure about that, but to fully confirm I'd need to be able to read Japanese hehe... (I'm just assuming based on his profile pic and whatnot)
