Sequence of construction for a pair of feet paws.
The zipper is to access the shoelaces to tie the shoes the paws are built on.

OurMassHysteria All my personal feet paws made by them have the zipper, and I decided to experiment with zippers on these. Not an easy install, but well worth it when you go to tie the laces!
The paw pads are Vibram shoe sole material contact cemented to the gym mat soles for durable wearability.

I hope you don't mind me using your idea.. It's so convenient, I've started retrofitting my other feet paws with the zippers, too.
Typically it takes me a good 2-3 hours to do the install on a pair of feet paws. The tricky part was finding short enough zippers, until my mom showed me the trick to shortening longer ones (Sewing across the teeth and cutting off the excess).
