Spring/Floral themed commission for
of his character Lee-Ann wearing a burlesque Daffodil motif. Daffodils are always one of the first signs of spring's return, though I will admit I had no idea they came in so many color varieties! :o
The idea for this piece was also inspired by this poem:

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

It's wonderful thank you! And yes Daffodils are all over the place at this time of the year, and there are a few colour varieties but it's mostly yellow.
Also a nod to the other patron Saints Day within the UK and Irie region St Davids day in Wales (Mar 1st), since the Daffodil is the nation flower and prominent symbol at this time of the year for the Welsh people.
Also a symbol of the Marie Curie cancer charity, daffodils where being sold at our workplace as part of a drive for that said charity.
And yes I like that poem, and it's a favourite of my mother as well and we have visited Wordsworth's hometown in the Lake District.
And yes some of the lines of the poem do relate to the characters personality.
