Well, seriously talking, I´ve asked this from few sparkleartists, but they`ve decided to politely ignore me, which just makes it more likeable that they don`t know either.
(We`re talking about things that don`t have an anthro/human form, fyi.)

Actually it was DA that inspired me to this, after seeing a dog that had green, glowing piss, 30 different sockes and shirts, it could play guitar and fire a gun. Actually I haven´t seen many sparkledogs in FA.
And nothing seems to corrupt the minds of young kids as effectively as the sparkledog. :D

I guess if it's a flood of it- it could be annoying. But I kinda like some of them. More sparkle anthro then feral though I guess. That might be cause my friend colors her characters in these high LSD like colors ^_____^'

They don't habit FA as much as DA, but basically an (usually young) artist that draws lots (if not only) generic brightly coloured beautiful canines that have scene hair, rainbows, bows, hoodies, iPods and they're shiny and are majestic and/or epic in some way. They draw same things that I've drawn here, except they do it more or less seriously.
My boyfriend and I wondered this when we were looking at a bunch of Sparkledogs. He especially wanted to know how they they search through their iPod with no thumbs. We then came up with this elaborate idea that there were special Sparkledog edition ipods that somehow worked with just a paw.

Oh. I meant more in the "linguistic lingo" sense of the word - a "meme" being a behavior that spreads through people picking it up from others because it appeals to them for some reason. ^^; Not in the strict internet "pass this on" sense (though those Memes are study examples of memes...) (<--ignore. language / cognition nerd here.)

I'm not a sparkle artist (I make fantasy animals with mostly natural colors), but my non-anthro characters usually have a friend with opposable thumbs (raccoons, monkeys, etc) that can help them get collars on. Or they just hold things in their mouth. XD

I've drawn sparkledogs a few times, the only way I can think of is that they are MAGICAL. That and it's just a drawing. =P For fun. Realism don't matter at all I guess~

Reminds me of one time I spoke to someone who actually believed they were this "elph" or whatever. I looked it up and it turns out they couldn't spell for shit since it was a type of camera. Unless it's a new breed of furry, the "robo". Fuck knows, but no matter what logic I used, this person seriously believed it and wouldn't accept otherwise.

I'm only saying this to be anatomically correct. Not when it comes to the style, but to the color.
And your suddenly lecturing me about how art is limitless, when I just said that in order to call them dogs they need to be like the color of real dogs.

Maybe if you had a sparkle dog that was like...a pet to someone who put the stuff on for them...then there's really no excuse as to how they put all that crap on every day, haha!

It is a good question, but "how does the common sparkle dog use its trendy equipment" might be along the line of one of the zen koans like "what is the sound of one hand clapping" that are not supposed to have an answer just supposed to provide a framework to initiate the deep ponderings of life.
