Oh, it's not a combined item. The hat and ears are separate! The little hat is on a string, and the bear ears are clips that just clip into my hair.
I figured that'd be the best way since I could position the ears on either side of the hat with no problem. I also used the clips to clip the string for the hat in place so nothing moved. ^^
