i like to dig holes as well, i dug one so deap that i could stand in it and not see the rim, someone needed to stand 2 feet away from the hole to see me

Oh yup....Once I dug 7.5 feet deep and 5 feet wide hole in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. And this picture is almost 3 feet deep

wow, i could not go any further since i was at the beach and there was a lot of water in the hole, was more than 5 feet deep, had about 3 feet of water in the hole

Yup! If dig dry sand by deep then will hard and slow ur time to dig opposite side if wet easy and fast dig

digging completely dry sand is not really a good idea, the sand would just flow in the hole, making for a wide entrance, but having damp sand is good since the walls would want to stay in shape, but to much water would also make the walls crumble and fall

Indeed....sometime I fell in hole when damp sand collaspe during I digging
