It had been nagging at the back of my mind for a long time. It's fairly standard for me to sketch something, then leave it sitting around for months before going to complete it. I was looking through old WIPs the other day and saw this, and decided then I must finish this, now. A couple of days of work later I finally had it done, and I'm so glad for having done so ^_^
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
I have returned from the dead. And seeing as my fetus dispenser never showed up (SIGH), I'm still holding your order of spare penii and vaginii. However, I will still flail over this piece, for it makes me squeak. I am sad for the ring-y creature, especially when it comes to a game of musical chairs. Ugh, your muscle-work makes me claw greedily at the screen for more. I'm so going to reference your work even more extensively now for my own secret drawings. Also...that strange person who seems to have stolen my man-skirt should give the Ringy Dragon (as it shall now be known) his head back. He has it hard enough as it is D: (I *really* do like the back muscles, though. My gods those look awesome)
Yay for you, and yay for me becoming un-un-dead so I can enjoy your stuff again.

Oh hello! Good to hear from you again, sir.
There are probably far better sources of reference than my work, but I am glad someone can find a good use for my stuff :O I would like to see these secret drawings of yours some time. Secretly.
While Set may be willing to give the head to the ringy dragon, he may be unsure as anyone else to where the head might be placed. I guess this is where improvision comes in.. and maybe some string and some superglue.
I agree! Becomming un-un-dead is worthy of much celebration. Thank you so much for the comment :D

Believe me...celebrations will be had. Celebrations involving Ringy Dragons, fetus dispensers, secret drawings, string and superglue. You know what I'm thinking about. But perhaps I'll email a drawing or two if any I do from herein seem worthy of your great eyes of artiness. (FYI, Firefox apparently thinks "artiness" is a real word. I didn't know it was.) If you receive any mysterious emails involving mysterious attachments that may or may not make it past the spam filter...you have been cursed with a secret drawing.
But you are welcome! Your art has many good uses, I think, and references for my piddlings are drops in the bucket. I look forward to more of your future arts, now that I am un-un-dead. Tell Set I still need the man-skirt back.

This sounds very mysterious :O I look forward to the possibility of such mystery!
I'll inform Set of this whenever I next speak with him. I'm sure he will appreciate your need for your manskirt. Manskirts are the best.
Btw, feel free to give me a poke on AIM some time too if you see me around. I have started using AIM again, however sparsely.

I HAVE YOU ADDED :< You are the only person on my list. YOU WILL KNOW WHEN I MESSAGE YOU, FOR IT WILL BE MYSTERIOUS.
Thank you for being gracious enough to inform Set of my need for manskirts. Your email inbox may yet be scarred with pitiable scribblings for this deed. I once drew a reproduction of a Tumuki picture, many years ago. He made for very nice dude-muscle-chest-homg practice. I wish I still had it.

Wow, thank you very much. I'm glad you like it enough to want a print for that purpose. I absolutely adore Set also..
I can't say I'd have any intention to sell prints of this however. But you're quite welcome to print off copies of your own if you feel inclined.
Sorry for the late response... I need to check my messages more often.

Much agreed. I have always been drawn to the way he is depicted, particularly the Set animal. When I finally read into his background I found myself curiously compelled by it, in a way I've only felt towards one other (Celtic) deity.
Thanks very much. I'd been wanting to draw him for a long time, but could never settle on how I'd like to see him drawn. Eventually this just fell into place, complete with the random creature-thing surrounding him. I still don't have a solid explanation for that...
