Another story I'm working on- this one is about the Poison Oak fairy, who, despite being a lovely, kind boy, has no friends- everyone who learns what he is runs away from him, and never gives him a chance to explain that he won't hurt them. One day he gets caught in the rain, and runs into a mouse who's getting soaked. The fairy makes an umbrella for the little mouse to keep it dry, and they get to talking- the fairy explains that he has no friends, and the mouse has none either because no one likes mice, so they decide to be friends together 8D
