An impromptu gift for a very good friend of mine (who I got addicted to dragon age ahahahah). One of their favourite characters is Merrill and so. Voila.

I never played enough DA to meet this chara. "!"

Did you just do spirals for the mail under the main armor?
It looks surprisingly good in this style like that. The simplest things work well sometimes, I guess!

Yeah, actually I've always done my mail like that, even on the "nice" drawings. It looks a little more organic that way in my opinion.

...I always did like a billion tiny circles anytime I've done things like that. I didn't think spirals wouldn't look messy - it works in your pic here, though. Suddenly I feel like I've wasted a lot of time. Hahaha

Haha that sort of thing happens, you find shortcuts born of laziness (as I did lol).

Depending on the program you use you can also make a chain mail brush. I've seen that used and made, only reason I don't do it is because, as I said, I am lazy B)

Yeah, I know the program I use will let me make my own brushes, but I have never messed with or learned that feature.
Again - lazy.

But spirals aren't too bad. I'll have to try that.

I loved DA: Origins, and while I didn't have as much fun playing DA 2, I was entertained by a few of its characters. Especially Merrill, my favorite out of everyone in the group of companions.
