i have used transformative copyright in my favor- none of the designs are alike to this one and my theme is more 'officer' than 'military' like the tantou. please understand i was inspired by the THEME and not any of the characters individually or specifically and nothing about this is unlawful or morally wrong to do. it is the equivalent of making a fan character and selling it. thanks!

it's inspired and isn't the exact design of any of them, it's transformative copyright and my own ideas used in inspiration /of the theme/- i would think not? LOL... if there wasn't touken ranbu inspired written on this you'd think it's just a military school boy design with a sword if you're not familiar and not go OH YEAH THIS IS A COPYRIGHTED CONCEPT?

as said above! if you can find me a design that copies /directly/ i will edit it, however i did look through them as to not copy any closely. the reason it looks like a tantou is because it's inspired by one and i kept closer to the inspiration source than the others- because some people were showing interest in them.

That's more for like, making prints of MLP characters and selling them at a con? Because then you're making money DIRECTLY off those designs, but this isn't an actual tantou? Honestly, it has more of an officer feel than a military feel too, like the others have double breasted, long sleeve coats for the most part? As well as ornate silver trimmings, whereas this design has gold accents and no trimmings in the coat itself.
I understand being concerned for Ali but honestly there are a lot of differences in the design as well as similarities, I think it's safe to say that this fan character isn't a direct "rip off" of Tantous, only inspired, which was the intention o/c!
