Didn't have time to do this one justice today... the weather was too great to pass up the opportunity to run errands and clean up outside. Less time for art, but now the garden is ready for spring!

Aw I'm so jealous! Since I'm relocating for school in April I have to use all my willpower not to buy up EVERYTHING any time I'm near a garden store. I'm usually like a kid in a candy shop in those! Have to wait until I'm settled in to see if any plants will be possible for me this year.
Gardening is an appropriate excuse for less art, in my opinion! :)
PS Butterfree looks great!

Oh man I know that feeling! My kitchen and studio room have so many plants, I love them! And my garden/yard is really small so I have to pick and choose which plants I want. Definitely cherry tomatoes, I got so many of those last year and they overtook my tiny yard so I couldn't mow. Gonna try cucumbers this year too. Today was mostly "rip out old dead tomato plants and weed whack the heck out of everything". What kind of things do you like to grow?
Yeah I live in an apartment, so I have a small deck/planter garden. I'm also only about 2-3 years into trying to harvest anything, so I'm still quite a beginner when it comes to just about everything.
I love herbs, so I try to grow as many of those as I can... and tomatoes are something I do every year. Also usually some lettuce/spinach as well. Those are really the only two I've had continual success with.
Last year I tried peas - they got really big but I didn't get many pods forming. I tried peppers but only got a single one (I think it's too cold here for them). Didn't have much luck doing radishes in a planter either, but I kind of expected that... those were more of an experiment.
But cucumber! That's a great idea. I absolutely love fresh cucumber, one of my childhood favorites from when my grandpa had his massive garden. What else are you thinking of trying?
