So guys, this is my alternate version of my track "Who We Are".
What you are listening to is the finished edition of my first vision of the song (the first uploaded one)
For those of you who don't know or are confused, when the
furry_musicians contest arrived, I submitted my first peek at "Who We Are" but in the final version that I released about a month ago, I restarted from scratch and composed it in a completely different key with completely different instruments and some alternate vocals.
<i>this</i> version of the song is the finished version of the first edition of the track that I uploaded to the contest. It contains the original vocals and the original key, as well as some additional instruments, all which were scrapped when I restarted the song's production and created the newer one.
So my question is, which one do you prefer? Sometimes I feel like I like this one better, but it seems a bit all over the place. Idfk. So I thought I'd put it up regardless.

I'm not sure. This didn't sound like it had very much low end, so I put it through an analyzer, and there's barely any frequencies below 80Hz. As a result, overall it sounds thin and unpolished. I also feel like its a tad overcompressed, because the track sounds like it's pumping a little after the claps hit. This is probably because of a bad mixing environment, or trusting too much on bass-heavy headphones like beats or Skullcandies.
Oh well yeah xD
I didn't mix this one much at all haha. I didn't take time to individually compress different channels when the claps hit, so they really controlled the master sound. The bass in this one was a bit disappointing me though as well. This really wasn't polished at all, but the general idea gives it it's individuality compared to the other version.
And I have been using uhh...turtle beaches for my music composing ^^;
MY NEW HEADPHONES GET HERE TOMORROW THOUGH AND IM SO EXCITED. They should be good for composing

Listening through my AirPods Pro rn and I like it. Ik you said that this makes you puke but there’s literally an artist (AG Cook) who’s style is to make it sound so much like this as much as possible and like I’m a huge fan lmaoo
