I use this website! You upload the picture, and screw around with the settings to make a pattern, and then I just reference the picture it spits out while I'm stitching. The hard part is the amount of colors, when you translate an image it gives you a whole bunch of images, the more you scroll down the less colors are used. The more colors used, the better it looks once you stitch it, but the more colors of string you have to have. So it's a give and take!
