So yeah, tuta

tuta came to me and was like "I NEED AN IDEA FOR SOMETHING SIMPLE TO DRAW" and I was like "I HAVE LIKE NO ART OF FURLOCK WITHOUT HIS EYEPATCH AND WITH HIS HAIR DOWN"

and then this happened, and everyone was happy.

Yep! He was born blind in his left eye.

Does your eyepatch-less eye not work or something? Or is it some weird fear of being labeled as heterochromatic? :o I've never seen (nor thought to ask about it until now).

Nope! Furlock was born blind in his left eye. Mostly it was just an excuse to get to wear an eyepatch like Wolf, though. XD The eyepatch came first, the story came later.
