this is the team that crushr the dark ekdar yesterday

forward you have my scout squad that took the higround early in the hame and coverd my right flank with snipers and heavy bolter.
next is the tactical squad that held the middleground and forest suported by my dreadnaught .
far right you see Chaplen cassius and his close combat retenue, "sorry just dosent show detail too well , he's an awsom figur" they wher my reserve , ready to counrte attack incase of a dark eldar breaktrue.
next up is the predator that held my left flankto great effect .
last up are the heros of the day , my attack bikes , they wher intenctionay held back ready to exploite weakneses in the enemy line.

battle report round one.
i took out a serious chunk of his command squad with my scouts "they faild ther morall chech too" the center troops moved forward in to the forest as my predator took out his transport with an HK missle , i moveed the bikes to a more ready possition.
he moved his jetbikes to couter my left flank and got a couple of glancing hits off my pred , shifted most of his troops trying to sweep my left flank but faild his fleet of foot mesiably ,"was he afrade of my scouts on the hill ?. no casualtys for round one sept for a predator crew with a headake.
Round2
right at the 12" limit i moved my attack bikes team and shredded his jetbikes in a hail of heavy bolter fury. the dreadnaught and deathwach heavy bolter took out chunks of his troops supotred by my pred "took out his darklances" i moved the scouts forward right flank"they whernt doing any good ther" the rest shifted left.
things wher looking bad for the dark eldar but things wher about to get wours .
possibely intimidated by my pread and dreadnaught that took up an advantagous position he shifted his troops to the right , out of range and cover of my heavys , moved his lord and 2 troops and devastated my scout squad staying out of sight line of nearly evrything elst , i assumed he was going to try to lock with my main squad.

my pred was now too far away and the dreadnaught was stuck in dificult terane "rold 2 ones" shifted my tack squad to fire and cassius and co in an attempt to counter his lord and retenue .
what hapend next seild ther fate.
again i shifted my bikes to the attack and this time all ther weapons wher in play , literaly shredded his lord and retenue .

tacticly the battle was lost for the dark eldar so we shook hands and cald it a victory for the boys in blue.
analesis.
this victory was one part lucky dice in round one , good use of terane and tactical reserve , and an opponant with no consistant battleplan.
my forces wher consentrated on the right side expecting a charge than never came all mof my forces wher in range of each to counterattack.
