Something special I've been making for the past few days for myself and people important to me who have had cancer, like my godmother's parents, my friend's mother, my own mother had a minor cancer and an easy treatment, and others. I myself have a disease that can become cancer, I've been fine for going on ten years now though, just have to be careful.
This is my Morpheus, god of dreams in
Megasonic17's roleplay. When a good person is near death and will pass away in their sleep he comes to give them one last sweet, long, beautiful dream personally. A sweet farewell kiss from the god of dreams before his brother comes and takes them away. I want to believe, very much, these things happen. And from what I've been told, they do.
I had a lot of trouble drawing this because the original looked so emotional even being a sketch. But as I drew it, it looked less and less meaningful and more plain and flat. I spent nearly 5 hours lining and coloring it then I quit and spent time with friends. A really good artist friend of mine told me to try to think of a way to do it not like any way I usually do things. So I tackled it like a silhouette, which is something I have't done in a long time, also never like this before. The original color is underneath that black.
