A little head-canon about why Pinkie Pie was able to so quickly push Gilda's buttons.
It seems Gilda had a younger brother. Younger, but no longer little. Like most younger siblings, he annoyed Gilda no end. Then she met Pinkie and was immediately reminded of said brother.
