What brand of perler bead do you use? I notice how your flat side has all the holes closed up from what I can tell and looks so nice, flat, and smooth. I've been unable to have that sort of result on my own large projects and it's frustrating me to tears because several large projects that were going to be gifts are all ruined because of it... I've looked online EVERYWHERE, youtube, perler website, facebook perler bead groups, etc. I'm so tired of my stuff always failing, I use the tape method and I poke the holes, however nothing bigger than your average pegboard square has turned out good. I want to achieve results like yours, having a nice flat side where all the holes are closed, as well as the 'pixel'/bead side.
