Oh man I agree! the moment they started with that voice, they would NOT STOP, I loved in prime 2 where they did side commentary with Ridley and other bosses, and in Prime 3, the constant reference of him falling down Generator Shaft C on Norion, it was the BEST

Nah, Other M was just the franchise's first bad game. I mean yeah it radically redesigned Samus, but the game would have been a great game if it didn't have Metroid slapped on it. Just like if Star Fox Adventures didn't have the Star Fox name on it; it's not that the game itself is shit, it's that the franchise it's attached to doesn't work for the lore currently-for-the-time established. I mean Other M plays... wonky as Hell, but if the game had Nunchuck support (the rarely-used "c" button could have been a way better way to switch perspectives than having to switch how you hold the controller) and was its own franchise it could have probably taken off very well.
