Trask is my krogan boy who was born (or should I say grown) in a lab to experiment on to see if it was possible to suppress the Krogans aggressive nature. Below will be a very simple background on him
They succeed in doing this and Trask was born. They called him 'Subject R' (Rage) since he could no longer feel anger. They experimented on him to see the downsides of such a drastic gene change. His regenerative abilities from blood rage were severely reduced or didn't work at all. This made Trask more easy to scar and injure. Task also became emotionless time to time, so emotionless he killed a scientist he had a crush on without hesitation. However, his strength, stamina, speed and love for a good fight were not changed.
After multiple years of experiments he was finally rescued by a platoon of asari forces and a spectre who was leading them. The Spectre who lead the team was called Aethyta Nyxelvos. She was married to a Krogan named Zrunax Khimag but they never had a child the entire time they were married (which was about 137 years). Aethyta and Khimag took Trask in after the pair persuaded the council to let them 'observe' how the way he was changed as he grew up. 'Part of the mission we suppose' they said.
Trask grew up to be a friendly krogan, had plenty of friends and was rather well known. He had three best friends; a turian, an asari and a salarian. They all practiced training together, had fun and had arguments like how friends are meant to. Eventually the salarian friend died at the age of 42 and Trask didn't deal with it well. Since he couldn't be angry, he felt conflicted on why he could never feel the thing his other two friends did.
Confronting his parents Trask learned the truth about what and who he was. This made him make his mind up; he was going to leave home. He felt betrayed that his parents waited over 175 years to tell him he was a freak of nature. Plus he always wanted to go out venture space and collect guns while working as a merc. This was the perfect reason to go live his dream. What was stopping him? Nothing. He didn't give a shit any more. So he got up and left, became a leader of a blood pack branch on Illium 100 years later by killing its leader. he continues as the leader while swapping command with his second in command time to time.
