This is Ageaus.
The human-turned merfolk shapeshifter, who is probably been drawn by myself and others more than any other single IP i’ve created. He has had many forms, Human, legged merfolk, feral, sharkfolk, squidfolk and at one time he even had dragon variants. Others drew him as other creatures: sea serpents, Irish folkloric creatures, one even drew him as a winged horse creature.

'Age was my first fully original character, and one of my first characters ever published. Most of those old Deviations are offline now, but some can still be on my Da page. I normally credit 2001 as his creation year, he wasn't online till '06 though.

Since then, Age’s been a lot of things, my online moniker for nearly nine years now, he was until recently a paladin in WoW, and I’ve used alterations of his name for simian personas. Merfolk and aquatic creatures, and people turning into them used be my imagined trademark, It ebbed away but that longing for the sea remains.

Maybe it’s time to come back home.
