It has probably been a good several years since I last drew fan art of anything, but I couldn't resist drawing one for a brand new indie game, Ori and the Blind Forest. The characters are Ori and his mother, Naru. I have been awaiting its release for months now and is part of the reason why I even own an X-Box One to begin with. I've only played through no more than half an hour of it, but it has already captured my heart in the way that I knew it would and is the best $20 I've ever spent on a game. It has so much to offer in the way of storytelling, art direction, music, and character design and is a shining light in the darkness of an age where there appears to be a decline in genuinely good creative media. The characters speak high volumes though they have no voices, and the monologue storytelling is reminiscent of hearing a story from your childhood being told to you. I know it'll be a wonderful experience and if you have a PC or an X-box One, definitely consider trying it out because I don't think you will be disappointed!

after seeing this, I was intrigued...so I opened up Steam, and BAM! there it was, the first game they were showcasing...
Oh my gosh...I may have to get this game, it looks epic! After watching those trailers...This game looks beautiful.
Steam says that they recommend playing it with a controller...but do you have to? I don't have an Xbox one, and can't really afford one, so Steam would be the only way I could play it.

Hello there!
I think what they might mean is if you have a PC game controller that can connect to your PC, you could use that instead of traditional computer keys and clicking the mouse. I would research what controls are necessary to play the game and make sure it's manageable before you purchase the game, just to make sure you can enjoy it without a computer controller. I'm sure that you'll adore the game if you get it though! It's impossibly beautiful and a complete work of art.
Thank you for your feedback! :)
