Night set in as the two Charr were heading back to the Black Citadel, forcing them to stop for the night. They sat back to back outside as Muddy laid Eternity in his lap, waiting for the blade to shift into its sleek black color for the night as Loki rested Foefire's Essence over his shoulder before gazing up at the stars.
"Hey hun?" the orange furred Charr asked timidly. "How many stars do you think there are up in the sky?"
"Hrrm? Hrr hrr, countless my love" the dark blue armored Charr chuckled softly as he glanced back at his lover.
"Well.. morning isn't for a long while, do you um.. want to start counting 'em? It'll be like counting sheep to help you sleep!" Loki snickered and grinned softly, still staring up in amazement at the vast number of littlw twinkling orbs in the sky.
"....Sure hun, go ahead and start us off.." Muddy said with a soft smile and leansd lovingly against his mate.
