As he wandered the countryside Bloodstrype happened upon a very small village in the southern most part of Texas. It was a small town of no more than 150 people and it was ran by a mayor.

'This place would be a great place to come once in awhile to relax and catch my breath'.

Approaching the town at the dead of night he found where the Mayor lived thanks to the town drunk. Without a sound he slipped into his house and stood there in the dark, growling as he showed his teeth

"Listen, Mayor. I don't give a shit about this town or the people in it. But know that I am a force to be reckoned with. All I want is food and shelter when I ask for it."

The mayor did not like being threatened but nodded to the creature. As he turned to leave he drew a .45 from his nightstand and fired at the creature. The round struck Bloodstrype in the shoulder.. but healed immediately.

The rabbit quivered as he brought his gun to bear again.. but it was too late. The raging thunderstorm silenced his screams of anguish and pain..

Next morning they found the mayor's head onto of the church steeple. His body was never found..
