One tiny bitty witty thing, i think you need a more professional mic, if you are going to do these type of songs, when you have to get your voice up.... Why? because your voice gets fuzzy when your voice is at top.

I really like the piece, though you definitely do have some clipping issues on the louder notes. A better mike and some modulation tweaking can probably straighten that out. =D

*lol* That'll probably take care of most of it, if not all of it. I'm on the Anthrocon video crew, but I'm one of the non-tech people, so while I know what it is when I hear it, what the guys do to fix stuff like that might as well be magic as far as I'm concerned. c.c We had one badly 'crispy' mic in the mix this year that kept clipping whenever the speaker got loud. Once they got it away from Kage (who gets VERY loud when he's excited) and gave him a new one, it was a vast improvement.

I really wanted to go to AC this year! So how did you start working at AC?

XDD Unintentionally. My husband befriended Cheetah, the guy who owns the TV truck and cameras, and we started hanging out... which meant we then volunteered to help. We got drafted into the AC staff before the con had even officially started in 2005, and we haven't been able to escape since then. It's a lot of hard work, but it's rewarding.

The reverb sounds a bit like microphone feedback - not sure if that's what it is... but I am assuming you were playing it pretty loud so what happens is the sound from the speakers travel to the microphone and then comes back out of the speakers in a loop. :3

That aside, your performance is absolutely gorgeous!!! You sung it so beautifully heee... I can almost imagine an Elf Em listening to it. :)

No...actually the reverb thing is built in to the background music...I was wearing headphones. It's actually built in for some reason.

heh, i wonder if people over in the UK have video taped it and put the recordings online. could try looking for it that way. it certainly sounds interesting, i hope it comes to teh states to, would definitely be something that would be fun to see.
