Sure. Like Shadacus and his demon forms or a Soul Reapers Zanpak to there is forms of the blade and it all starts with the starting version and as it gets released it becomes more and more powerful. As you see it starts as a thin and long katana for quicker attacks. Don't be fooled it still is quite deadly on it's own here
