Koviell's short intro to the kobold language
So I choose to make this for the kobold week. Enjoy

This is something well known, kobolds speak the draconic language like the dragons do, but there are words and expressions specifically used by them, here's a few.
- Yip
Yip is the general agreement, typically "yes". When a kobold Yips, it's usually for a positive answer. Otherwise, Yip can be used as a generic surprise word.
- Yip yip
Yip yip is the double agreement. It's more commonly used as a greeting term, like "hello" or "hi". It can also be used as a way to thank someone.
- Yap
Yap is the general disagreement, typically "no". When a kobold Yap, he's usually a negative answer. A kobold will often Yaps when displeased.
- Yap yap
Yap yap is commonly used to end of a conversation. Used as a "bye" or "farewell". Can also be used as a strong disagreement depending the context.
- Yip yap
Yip yap is the indecisive term. Kobolds use it when they don't know an answer to a question, or when they're unsure (eg. maybe).

the fun part is that I learned that yipyak was a thing after having defined some expressions. I was a wayre that Kobolds had their own dialect, but I didn't knew WotC had written on it before.
On the other hand, I could use my language skills and try to build up my own koboldian language, including those yip yap expressions
