Even still, looking at your Star stuff, they are still a better quality then when I started watching you years ago. I just made a realization seeing the sketches, but to do a side by side comparison of all your work, stuff recently has shown much improvement, and it's showing, which is badass.
I think the scenarios are easy to think up because well I guess cause im a babyfur so my head just naturally gravitates to these sorts of ideas cause gem is me..mebbe... I bet you're probably better at thinking up scenarios of a 4-6 year oldish cause thats the sort of age of little neko whereas I would probably struggle with thinking of scenarios for that age probably.
For sure, I think that might be a big part of it. I'm not, so while I can act childish, I think differently? (I get a lot of inspiration from movies with kids in it haha).
That AND I'm the baby of the family, so I've barely been around kids D: (I'm so awkward around them!) Sure makes it hard to know what they do!

*giggling lots* im proper awkward around real kids too....well thats a lie..children 3-4 years old and up im fine with. children younger than that scare the bejezzus outta me. im just scared theyre gonna break or explode or...I dunno I just panic and run LAFFING!!! but i find it really easy to slip into Gem's headspace and then all the stuff in pictures like these just kinda pop into my head kinda naturally...which reminds me I still need to draw that comic I promised like literally years ago now, maybe now that im a better artist than I was back then, i'll be able to do the idea justice.
I feel scared of them too a little? But not like, scared of spiders, just nervous since I don't know what to do with them. Man I freak when I'm told to watch them for a sec!
I guess I also feel embarrassed talking to them like you should, like a baby, I feel like people will laugh even though I know they won't.

My husbands sister had a baby..well shes got 2 now and when we go over there she insists that I hold it and I just kinda hold it looking at it as if im holding a timebomb or something and yeah...I totally dont do babytalk either I just I cant....Theres something about babytalk that just makes me cringe and when im playing in little headspace and someone babytalks at me...well that just totally makes me go soo blushy and shy I feel like im gonna explode LOL
And im not worrying bout teh comic or anything its sat there on my list of things to do and truthfully im glad i didnt do it way back when we spoke about it cause ive learnt lots about smics since then so I think i'd be able to do a much better job of it these days :D so tahts a good thing heh

Squeeeeee! Every single one of these pictures is a totally perfect example of why you are the most adorable, loveable, cuddleable, sweet little squiggle in the universe! I could just giggle at these all day and never get tired of it! I love my baby sister so much! *cuddles you up*
